I LOVE smoked salmon and love to incorporate it into everything I make. One of my favorite appetizers for parties (because I can’t eat this whole thing by myself!!) is Smoked Salmon Mousse. Not only is this super easy to make, but it requires minimal prep time, can be prepared overnight, and tastes delicious!
Smoked Salmon Mousse
8 ounces whipped cream cheese
4 ounces smoked salmon, chopped (or more if you like!)
1/2 tablespoon of chopped dill, chives or green onion
1 teaspoon milk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 dash tabasco
1/2 teaspoon fresh grounded pepper
Mix everything together. In a medium container, mix cream cheese, lemon juice, milk, tabasco, and the grounded pepper until smooth. Fold in the chopped smoked salmon and herbs. Mix until all the smoked salmon is fully distributed in the spread. Refrigerate for an hour and serve on water crackers, cucumbers or anything to your imagination!
